Career Resources for LGBT Students
Out for Work provides resources for career development that pertain specifically to LGBTQ+ students, including conferences.
This annual conference helps LGBTQ+ undergraduate students learn how other “out” professionals have navigated the same issues. Panelists share insider knowledge about coming out in different professional organizations in different professional, as well as strategies they have used to investigate companies’ LGBTQ+ policies. Scholarships are available.
The Out for Work certification program is designed to assess and evaluate the quality, quantity, and availability of LGBTQ-specific resources and support available to students at academic career centers. Out for Work helps provide tools, resources, and training materials to career centers to improve the quality of services offered to LGBT students.
